Designed, developed and supported several major intranet web applications for PBS (Public Building Services) and NCR (National Capitol Region) wings of GSA (General Services Administration), which automate the daily operations of the various divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Developed multiple cutting edge ASP.NET (C#, SQL Server 2000/2005) web applications using Microsoft .NET 1.1, 2.0 and 3.5 Frameworks, which comply to the section 508 rules
Designed a single sign on feature for majority of the ASP.NET web applications under the intranet using LDAP protocol with Microsoft Active directory
Reengineered 5 major classic ASP applications to the ASP.NET 2.0 (SQL Server 2005, C#) platform, which reduced huge amount of maintenance costs
Implemented an architecture that would keep Microsoft Active Directory information current inside the SQL Server 2005 database and make it available for multiple applications
Developed complex database synchronous scripts between multiple and remote Oracle databases using PL/SQL, transporting huge amount (>10GB) of data every night. These scripts keep the financial data on GSA Office of Finance databases current
Utilized Agile software development methodologies along with our own SDLC process
Administered IIS 5.0 and IIS 6.0 web servers on multiple Windows 2000 and 2003 production servers
Migrated Classic ASP web applications and ASP.NET web applications from Windows 2000 Advanced Server environment to the Windows 2003 Server environment, troubleshooting several major issues on the way
